Hydrology and Topography - ARC384

This project explored the use of GIS to model landforms and hydrology through a section of land. This project took the shoreline of the California coast as the landform and modeled the landform signatures as well as the flow of water throughout the site towards the ocean. Then the GIS model was extrapolated into various variations to examine how the hydrology and topography are interrelated and can shift and change overtime - modifying water flow.

Topography and landform signatures plan, data gathered from GIS.

Hydrology and water systems plan, data gathered from GIS.

Landform axonometric from hydrology and topography data with indicators of high points, low points and important landform signatures.

Potential landform iterations and changes in landform with a visualization of the effect of the water runoff on the land.
